What is the BFA Interact Club?

The BFA Interact program is designed specifically to help our community.

Our St. Albans Rotary-sponsored service club provides our high school students  with an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends. The basic principle of the Rotary Interact is to help others.

BFA Interact students are part of an international organization with more than 11,400 clubs in over 125 countries, with an estimated membership of 250,000 club members worldwide!

What are our objectives?

The mission of Interact is to provide opportunity for young people to work together dedicated to service and community understanding.

The St. Albans BFA Interact goals are:

  1. To recognize and develop constructive leadership and personal integrity.
  2. To encourage and practice thoughtfulness of and helpfulness to others.
  3. To build respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual.
  4. To emphasize acceptance of individual responsibility as the basis of personal success, community improvement, and group achievement.
  5. To develop life skills including self-development and time management.
  6. To provide opportunities for gaining increased knowledge and understanding of community, national, and world affairs.
  7. To open avenues of personal and group action leading to the advancement of international understanding and goodwill toward all peoples.
