St. Albans, VT – The Rotary Club of St. Albans, in collaboration with the BFA St. Albans Rotary Interact Club, is proud to announce its annual coat drive, with a goal to collect 1,000 coats during the month of November to benefit individuals and families in need within our community.
For over six years, the Rotary Club has successfully gathered more than 6,000 coats, providing warmth to those facing the hardships of winter. This year, we invite the community to help us continue this vital initiative.
 
We are accepting gently used or new coats, hats, mittens, and boots. The following locations will serve as drop-off points:

  • Champlain Insuring/One Digital: 17 1st Street, Swanton
  • Collins Perley Complex: 890 Fairfax Road, St. Albans

“This coat drive is not just about providing warmth; it’s about fostering community spirit and compassion,” said Karyn Rocheleau, BFA Rotary Interact facilitator and Past President of the Rotary Club. “Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those who need our support.”
Stephanie Hodgeman, BFA Rotary Interact counselor, emphasized the importance of community engagement, stating, “Our club is dedicated to making a difference. Through collecting donations and volunteering, we aim to show that we care for our neighbors and the environment.”
