St. Albans, Vermont – Get ready for a morning filled with fun and community spirit at the 5th Annual Lucky Duck Event on Saturday, September 7th, at the Historic Fountain in Taylor Park. Hosted by the St. Albans Rotary Club, this cherished tradition is not just about having a blast but also supporting local charities and projects that make a difference in our community.
This year, we’re extra excited to celebrate Rotary’s 100th Anniversary, and we want you to be part of the festivities!

Schedule of Fun:
- 10:00 AM: Duck Waddle – Join us for a quacky parade around Taylor Park. Dress up in your finest “duck” attire—raincoats, hats, shirts, or whatever makes you feel ducky!
- 10:30 AM: Lucky Duck Drawing – Cheer on Mayor Tim Smith as he draws the winners for our fabulous cash prizes totaling $3,100, with a grand prize of $1,000!
- 11:00 AM: Rotary’s 100th Anniversary Celebration – Let’s toast to a century of service and community spirit.
- 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Enjoy refreshments and hot dogs while they last.

Since its start, the Lucky Duck Event has become a symbol of our community’s generosity. Over the past four years, this event has raised more than $60,000 for local charities, thanks to people like you.
